Mandi or Mandav Nagar, as it was earlier known, is a city cum Municipal Corporation in the District of Mandi within Himachal Pradesh. It lies 145 km away from the city of Shimla and is linked by the National Highway 20 to Pathankot. It is also connected to Chandigarh and Manali through the National Highway 21. Mandi lies 184.6 km away from Chandigarh and lies at an elevation of 760 meters.
