Good things here

Vikhroli is known for its lush greenery, thanks to the Godrej reservation area. Electricity supply is generally reliable in this area. However, occasional water supply issues may arise due to damaged pipes. The management of societies in Vikhroli is commendable, with some areas being exceptionally well-maintained. Plus, there are excellent park facilities for residents to enjoy. Connectivity is also good, and with the upcoming metro station project, it's set to improve even further.

Things need improvement

Despite being a hilly area, Vikhroli has its share of drawbacks, such as waterlogging during heavy rains, which can be quite unpleasant. Additionally, there's an issue with littering, especially in areas near the station where some residents seem to lack civic sense. Transportation can also be slower at night in Vikhroli, which might inconvenience some residents.

Good things here

Having lived here for five years, I'm highly satisfied. The prime location, just five minutes from Vikhroli railway station, and easy access to buses, autos, and taxis make commuting a breeze. The construction quality is excellent, with no reported issues. The society offers advanced facilities like a swimming pool, gym, clubhouse, and more. Security is top-notch with surveillance cameras and guards. Plus, there are plenty of amenities nearby including banks, ATMs, restaurants, schools, and colleges. Overall, it's been a great experience.

Things need improvement

Despite offering many facilities, the maintenance charges are high and keep increasing yearly compared to other societies in Vikhroli. There's insufficient police patrolling at night, occasional power cuts despite having backup facilities, and transportation options like the metro, monorail, and airport are a bit far. Roads, especially during monsoons, are poorly maintained, leading to traffic due to potholes, and some street lights are non-functional. Mosquitoes and street dogs are prevalent, contributing to the neighborhood's discomfort. Heavy traffic congestion is a major drawback, worsened by the nearby slum area causing air and noise pollution. Encroachment by street vendors leads to crowding, traffic jams, and a dirty environment. Parking can also be problematic due to limited space.

This society boasts excellent security measures, ensuring that outsiders cannot enter without a valid pass, and it's equipped with surveillance cameras for added safety. Residents enjoy amenities like a spacious swimming pool and a well-equipped gym. With round-the-clock water and electricity supply, convenience is guaranteed. Plus, having a Dmart just 50 meters away adds to the convenience, making it easily accessible for daily needs.

Parking space is limited, and there are recurrent issues with one of the lifts. Additionally, the absence of nearby clubs may disappoint residents seeking recreational activities outside the society.

Good things here

Outsiders are strictly monitored and require proper identification to enter, ensuring tight security with CCTV surveillance throughout the premises. Despite this, it's a fantastic place to live, offering excellent amenities. The neighbors are exceptionally friendly and inclusive, celebrating every festival together regardless of religion or caste. There's a wonderful sense of unity and harmony, with no discrimination whatsoever, making it a truly peaceful community to reside in.

Parking space is quite limited, and the quality of wall putty used is subpar, evident from its peeling in various parts of the house. Additionally, the floors lack proper cleanliness and maintenance, partly due to the caretlessness of the watchmen responsible for cleaning. This leads to occasional parking issues for outsiders, who may need to park their vehicles outside the building premises.

The Godrej trees offer excellent landscaping and attract a premium crowd. The maintenance and ambiance are top-notch, enhancing the overall experience. The upcoming Taj will further elevate the living experience. Additionally, having popular eateries like Vikhroli Socials and Boss Burger within the complex adds convenience and enjoyment for residents.

The area suffers from limited connectivity and availability of maids, impacting convenience. During the rainy season, mosquitoes can be a nuisance. Additionally, there's a lack of good shops nearby for basic necessities, and schools are situated far from the area.

Good things here

I really want to share from the heart how impressed I am with the wonderful amenities provided at this place. From the clubhouse to the cozy coffee lounge and restaurants, everything is top-notch. Plus, having a well-known hospital like Godrej nearby adds to the convenience.

The Godrej area has its downsides. There are poorer neighborhoods surrounding it, and occasional pollution from nearby factories can be a problem. The noise from passing trains and nearby forest areas can also disrupt the peace and quiet.
